The Hiway Theater in Jenkintown will host a series of special events in December.
The nonprofit theater’s monthly Cult Cinema Club returns with the 1990s video store classic “Go” on December 13, following by a Horror at the Hiway screening of “Black Christmas” on December 19.
The Sunday Screwballs series returns on December 7 with Barbara Stanwyck in “Christmas in Connecticut” followed by the Old York Symphony’s annual sing-a-long concert on December 17 at 6:30pm. A screening of “It’s a Wonderful Life” will be held after the concert at 8:00pm.
$5 family matinee holiday screenings include “The Polar Express” on December 6, “The Year without a Santa Claus” on December 13, “The Grinch” (2018) on December 20/22, “Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer” on December 23, “Scrooged” on December 23, and “Elf” on December 24.
