Heroic Gardens, a veteran outreach program based in Elkins Park, is hosting a packing party on Saturday, February 22 from 10:30am – 12:00pm.

Owner Collie Turner is inviting area residents to pack garden making kits which are then shipped to veterans and their caregivers across the country.

Two more packing parties are scheduled for March 29 and April 26.
