Hatboro’s Zoning Hearing Board approves five new businesses

Hatboro’s Zoning Hearing Board considered variances for an indoor children’s recreation facility, a wholesale electronics retail/storage facility, a wellness and physical therapy facility, and an automobile repair business and related parking/loading facilities during its September 9 meeting.

Indoor children’s recreation facility

Dreamland Adventure, LLC was granted a variance to allow an indoor playground for children up to eight years of age at 330 S. Warminster Road.

According to the zoning report, this is the applicant’s fourth location. The business would be open from 9:00am to 7:00pm seven days a week. The space would also be available to host children’s parties.

Wholesale electronics retail/storage facility

Velocity Venture Partners LLC was granted variances to allow a retail/storage wholesale electronics business at 330 S. Warminster Road.

Medical/wellness facility and physical therapy practice

A variance was granted to Unwind Spa LLC to allow a medical/wellness facility featuring a sauna, cold plunge, red light therapy, retail and merchandise sales at 330 S. Warminster Road.

An application was granted to allow Physical Therapy Vertigo Concierge to operate at the same address.

Borough manager Diane Hegele told Glenside Local that Velocity is the property owner and applied on behalf of Physical Therapy Vertigo Concierge and Unwind Spa LLC.

After testimony from building management (owners’ representative), individual businesses, a traffic engineer to review the findings from a parking study that showed sufficient parking to meet the needs of these businesses and existing as well as possible future business, the board granted the variance for the Electronics Wholesale Sales business, the Wellness business, and the Physical Therapy establishment.  The Electronics Wholesale Business is in its own space on the complex and the other two businesses are within the Dill Dinkers Pickleball space. 

Automobile repair shop

A variance was granted to Sandro and Zurab Bareladze to allow for an automobile repair shop at 218-222 Tanner Avenue.

After testimony from the property owner, who will be relocating his business to this property, the Board granted the variance with a condition that a formal lease be submitted to the Borough for the off street parking spaces at the adjoining property (also owned by the applicant).
