The Hatboro Police Department is seeking assistance in identifying the driver of a vehicle that struck a juvenile bicyclist on March 30.

According to the report, the incident took place at the intersection of S York Road and School Road. Arriving officers said that the striking vehicle, a black Toyota SUV with a partial tag of MTX, had fled the scene.

The vehicle was being operated by a white female, police said. An investigation uncovered a video that captured the accident. 

“The video shows the black SUV strike the juvenile bicyclist right in the middle of the intersection,” the report said. “The black SUV is then seen pulling over to the side of the road for a very brief period of time and then driving away northbound on S York Rd.”
