The Hatboro Police Department is searching for 20-year-old Dantz Jenkins (above left), who is accused of assaulting a victim with a knife on Thursday, September 10 at a McDonald’s located at 121 N York Road in Willow Grove.
According to the report, officers learned through interviews and surveillance video that the victim was sitting in a vehicle when he was approached by Jenkins, who then produced a knife “and began to cut off the clothing of the victim.”
Jenkins then fled the area with his associates, police said.

In related news, Hatboro police announced the arrest of Ely Diaz-Jimenez, 48 (above right), for providing false information while attempting to purchase a firearm.
According to the report, officers received information from state police regarding an individual providing false information while attempting to purchase a firearm at Continental Armory (9 S York Road) on June 29.
Hatboro police conducted an investigation which revealed that the information was accurate. A warrant was obtained for his arrest on August 27.
Diaz-Jimenez turned himself in on Tuesday, September 22. His charges are listed below:

- (1 COUNT) (18) 4904(B) UNSWORN FALSIFICATION TO AUTHORITIES (M3)
A preliminary hearing is scheduled for October 15, police said.
