The Hatboro Police Department received a Lifetime Sponsorship Award during the Hatboro Little League Opening Day ceremonies on Saturday April 5.

“For over 20 years, the employees of our department have contributed out of their own pockets to sponsor a team,” the department said. “Our members believe it is important for kids to get outside, be physically active and participate in team sports. This belief aligns with the leagues statement on their webpage that reads…. ‘Hatboro Little League is more than just baseball and softball – it’s a place where children grow, friendships form, and the community comes together.'”

“Hats off to the many volunteers who come together all year to make Hatboro Little League a great organization.  Your commitment to our youth is invaluable and is appreciated by us all,” the department said.
