Hatboro police arrest man for causing collision while DUI, BAC three times the legal limit

The Hatboro Police Department announced today the arrest of Giorgi Iordanishvili, 43, of Brooklyn, NY, for driving under the influence of alcohol and causing a two-vehicle accident with injuries on the evening of April 2.

According to the report, the collision took place at the intersection of N York Road and E County Line. An investigation found that Iordanishvili was traveling north on N York Road when he veered into oncoming traffic, followed by a head-on collision with another vehicle.

A passenger in the other vehicle sustained a fractured pelvis, and Iordanishvili’s blood alcohol concentration was found to be more than three times the legal limit to drive, police said. He was arrested and charged with the following:
