For adults, the abandoned Bates Motel came as a top recommendation for its haunted hayride and famous haunted house. For kids, Pumpkins & Scarecrows at Peddler’s Village earned a top mention for their 100+ scarecrows, part of an annual competition among local residents and organizations.
