‘Halfway to St. Patrick’s Day Fundraiser’ this Saturday at Jerzee’s

Organizers* of Glenside’s inaugural St. Patrick’s Day Parade are hosting a fundraiser on Saturday, September 28 from 3:00pm – 7:00pm at Jerzee’s Sports Bar & Pizzaria.

The family-friendly event will feature live music by Natty Light, performances by Timoney & Cummins Irish Dancers, raffles, and games of chance. Admission is free and donations are appreciated.

“It has been an honor to be part of the planning committee with such great people from the community,” Tom Hendel, a Glenside resident and realtor with Keller Williams, said. “We are going to bring Glenside the St. Patrick’s Day parade it deserves!”

The parade is scheduled for Saturday, March 8, 2025. A festival following the parade will feature live Irish bands, food trucks, and vendors.

“It’s exciting to see our vision for Glenside’s first St. Patrick’s Day Parade come to life,” Colleen McDermott, owner of the Keswick Collective, said. “We have a fantastic team of people dedicated to this project. Our association is a wonderful group of neighbors and local business owners who share a passion for the Glenside community and all things Irish.”

More information, including the parade route, is coming soon. You can RSVP via the event’s Facebook page.
