Greater Glenside schools receive statewide rankings based on exam results

Lower Moreland School District is greater Glenside’s best-performing district, according to a study undertaken by the Pittsburgh Business Times (and published in The Philadelphia Business Journal).

Lower Moreland is ranked 39th in the state this year, up from 42nd in 2024.

This 2025 ranking of school districts across the state is based on examining the most recent three years of available PSSA and Keystone Exams results (2022, 2023, and 2024).

Jenkintown School District is ranked 73rd this year, up two spots from 2024. Springfield Township School District, ranked 89th, fell five spots from last year. Abington School District improved to 112th, up from 123rd in 2024. Cheltenham School District is ranked 280th. They were ranked 253rd last year.

Locally, Wissahickon School District dropped from 15th to 25th from 2024 to 2025, while Upper Dublin fell from 21st to 28th.
