Greater Glenside Patriotic Association highlights Little Mr./Little Miss Glenside winners

The Greater Glenside Patriotic Association announced that Quinn Whitehead and Olivia Elmer have been named 2026’s Little Mr./Little Miss Glenside, respectively.

Quinn and Olivia will be featured in the GGPA’s morning program and Independence Day parade on Saturday.

From Quinn’s biography:

Quinn recently completed first grade with the wonderful Ms. Allen at Copper Beech Elementary School, and is ready for a summer full of camp, friends, the beach, and the pool. Quinn has an older sister, Kiera, and a younger brother, Shane, and is a very active kid.

Quinn currently spends his days at a YMCA camp and loves soccer, baseball, jiu-jitsu, and muay thai, though he is also recovering from a broken arm as a result of a run-in with the monkey bars. Quinn is also a reader and especially enjoys the Who Would Win series. (Pop quiz: Who would win in a fight, a hornet or a wasp?)

He details his perfect day as fishing and camping with lots of pancakes and ice cream involved, and enjoys exploring the playgrounds of Glenside with his family, ideally with stops at the Keswick Diner and Rita’s Water Ice.

On the 4th of July, Quinn can typically be found at the morning program, parade (he loves collecting all the candy!), and the fireworks. He describes himself as “smart, brave, and silly” and we’d have to agree—he’s a pretty great kid! We’re honored to support him as Mr. Glenside 2026 and can’t wait to see him in the parade this Saturday.

From Olivia’s biography:

Olivia recently completed third grade with the fabulous Mrs. Conway at Copper Beech Elementary School, and is excited for a summer full of swimming and camps. She is currently attending camp at Rooted Tree and looks forward to performing in High School Musical Jr. next Wednesday and Thursday evenings (come check her out)! Olivia has an older brother named Owen and counts gymnastics, soccer, and reading among her favorite hobbies.

Olivia loves getting pretzels and ice cream in Keswick Village, as well as having her annual birthday shopping spree at King of Prussia Mall (courtesy of her wonderful aunt). Lucky girl! Olivia typically kicks off July 4th by decorating her bike for the morning program, then hanging out with her cousins and swimming. Her favorite part of the parade is cheering for her brother as he walks with his boy scout troop. This year, however, Olivia will be the one receiving cheers! We are so proud of our self-described “funny, caring, helpful, and kind” Miss Glenside 2026, and can’t wait to support her in the parade this Saturday.
