Glenside’s Michael Carroll has Penn State on his radar

La Salle High School’s football standout Michael Carroll of Glenside won’t wear a college uniform until 2025, but it’s never too early to think about what colors it will be.

Blue White Illustrated, Penn State’s fan site and magazine, reported that Carroll had a campus visit on Saturday, and was impressed with what he saw.

Carroll’s father, Michael Sr., played for the Nittany Lions in the 1990s. Time will tell if Michael Jr. will make his future a legacy.

“My favorite visit experience I’ve had so far,” he said of the trip. “The environment, the energy, the coaches. Everything was perfect.”

The 6-foot-5, 285-pound sophomore has yet to pick up a scholarship from the Nittany Lions, but he’s firmly on the radar of his father’s alma mater.
