Glenside’s master scientist “Grand Hank” sold out the 3,500-seat Metropolitan Opera House of Philadelphia on December 6.

6ABC News recently covered the event, which included a morning show for K-8 grade students and their teachers, and an evening show open to all ages.

The event was produced by The Knowledge Factory, Inc. and Grand Hank Productions, Inc.

The Glenside-based companies develop television programs, products, and live events to increase student interest in education, and provide workforce development training and student-, teacher-, and community-based programs.

The companies focus on closing the science education divide by creatively and musically introducing science as approachable, practical, and reachable as a career steppingstone.
