Glenside resident Gina Ferragame, who teaches interactive “Music with Gina” classes, was recently named a recipient of the 2023 Philadelphia Family LOVE Award for Best Music Class. Her story, as well as one of her classes hosted by Align Fitness in Glenside, were highlighted by 6ABC on Saturday, July 8.

A longtime singer and songwriter from Wyndmoor, Ferragame now runs five classes, hosts performances at yoga studios, churches, and parks, and has put out three albums to date.

Her classes and music help youth learn social skills and positive values. She also performs for hospice patients.
