Glenside Fire Company Engine 1 and members of Weldon Fire Company were dispatched to a housefire on Railroad Avenue in Glenside around 10:00am Monday morning.

The companies deployed two handlines to extinguish the fire, while Ladder 1 and multiple companies searched the house and assisted with multiple exposures, ventilation of the roof, and the overhaul stage of the fire.

Mutual aid was provided by Wyndmoor Hose, Independent Fire Company, Elkins Park Fire Company, Edge Hill Fire Co. St. 400, Fort Washington Fire Company No. 1, Roslyn Fire Company, Oreland Volunteer Fire Company, Flourtown Fire Company & McKinley Fire Company.
