A crew of volunteer firefighters from Weldon Fire Company and Edge Hill Fire Company responded to a fire at the Glenside Terrace Apartment complex Tuesday night.

Officials shut down Edge Hill Road to make room for firetrucks and ambulances on the scene. A volunteer firefighter told Patch that the incident might have started as a stove fire in one of the apartment units.
