Glenside Resident Awarded Academic Achievement Award at Commencement Ceremony

Glenside resident Evgeniia Elliott ’19, who earned a Bachelor of Arts in Performance Production and Design at Arcadia University, was awarded the Ira R. Kraybill Award for Part-Time Study at the University’s Undergraduate Commencement Ceremony on May 17.

The Kraybill Award for Part-Time Study is awarded to the part-time undergraduate with the highest academic achievement while completing at least half of his or her coursework at Arcadia. Elliot excelled at her individualized major, which combined her interests in design, construction, and fashion. Originally from Saint Petersburg, Russia, Elliott was the makeup designer for “Picnic,” a 2016 play at Arcadia University Theater. Throughout her time at Arcadia, she has earned a cumulative GPA of 3.872.

Elliott collaborates with portrait photographer Tatiana Lumier as a makeup artists on photo shoots, for which they’ve won multiple Wedding and Portrait Photography International (WPPI) awards. She’s previously worked with Shiseido and Dior.

Arcadia University graduated approximately 890 bachelor, masters and doctorate students during its 163rd annual Commencement Ceremonies.
