Glenside man previously arrested for stealing $1.3K from Target has been arrested in New Jersey

The Bucks County Sheriff’s Office announced today the arrest of Edward Lehner, 34, of Glenside, following a bench warrant issued on September 30 for failure to appear for Pre-Trial Conference/Guilty Plea. He was arrested in Camden County, New Jersey, per the report.

In November 2024, Lehner and Angelica Benetz, also of Glenside, were arrested for stealing $1,391.43 from a Target at 401 Easton Road in Warrington Township.

According to the report, Warrington police were informed by loss prevention that a male and female entered the store and were observed switching bar codes on merchandise. On September 1 the pair switched bar codes for a total loss of $679.96, following by a loss of $711.47 on September 14.
