The Warrington Township Police Department announced today the arrest of Scott Keith Montgomery, 56, of Glenside, for stealing from a Wegmans at 1405 Main Street on October 14.

According to the report, loss prevention told police they saw a male, later identified as Montgomery, placing multiple boxes of health and beauty items into his pockets. He then exited the store without for the concealed merchandise.

Officers approached Montgomery as he exited and escorted him to the loss prevention office, where he removed the stolen items from his pockets, the total value of which was $264.34. He was placed under arrest and transported to the police station where he was processed and released.

• (18) 3929 (A1) RETAIL THEFT (M1)
• (18) 3925 (A) RECEIVING STOLEN PROPERTY (M1)
