The first annual Glenside Jenkintown Restaurant Week will be held from September 25 to October 2 at over 10 restaurants in the area.

Promotion is being organized by GlensideLocal.com with support from the Downtown Glenside Foundation and the Jenkintown Community Alliance.

During Restaurant Week, participating restaurants will offer prix fixe menus. Each menu will be available at GlensideRestaurantWeek.com and JenkintownRestaurantWeek.com in early September.

“We are so excited to have our two restaurants, West Avenue Grille & Pizza Wheel, be a part of Restaurant Week. We think it’s a great opportunity for a continued sense of community and local support in our area,” Dan and Chelsea Katz said. “We look forward to the potential of growing stronger as a neighborhood and to adding the addition of our third restaurant, The Highland, in future events!”

“Come taste what our chefs have come up with for you to enjoy during Restaurant Week!”, Tim Way, owner of The Ways Restaurant & Brewery, said. “You know it’s gonna be from scratch and super delicious! We will have a new, fresh-made beer available for the event also!” 

“Stop on over to Glenside’s best sports bar. Enjoy a night out on Jerzee’s beautiful new patio and enjoy some great food,” Barry Elvidge, Jerzee’s general manager, said. “‘Catch’ some great Phillies baseball and some affordable pub grub, too. Jerzee’s is a great place to see the Eagles and all of the NFL action every week while enjoying a bite to eat.”
