Fundraiser arranged for family of Chris Dougherty, Oreland photographer killed in 6ABC crash

A fundraiser has been arranged on behalf of Chris Dougherty, 45, a photographer from Oreland who was killed in 6ABC’s Chopper 6 when it crashed in Washington Township, New Jersey on Tuesday night.

Dougherty was survived by his wife and two daughters, Kiera and Dilan.

A message from Rebecca, a friend and neighbor of the Dougherty family:

Thank you so much for everyone’s love and support during this difficult time. Chris was a dedicated, loving father and husband who cherished special time with his family. Many of you have had the privilege of hearing Chris sing up on stage with his daughter, Dilan. Others may have also witnessed him cheering from the sidelines of one of Kiera’s basketball or lacrosse games.

This site is dedicated to his passion for supporting his daughters in their pursuits of their own love of sport and music. There is nothing he would want more than to see them strive towards their goals. Donations will go directly towards ensuring Kiera and Dilan will be able to chase their dreams and further their education.
