Jenkintown Borough announced today that A & E Construction will be closing the following road segments on Wednesday, November 27 from 6:00am – 4:00pm to allow for the milling and paving operation of Washington Lane and Wyncote Road.  

• Washington Lane, between York Road and Walnut Street 
• Wyncote Road, between Washington Lane and York Road 
• Cedar Street, between Harper Avenue and Washington Lane 
• Walnut Street, between Washington Lane and Mather Road 

From the borough’s announcement:

The road closures are for the safety of the general public and the contractors performing work in the area. During the milling operation residents will have limited access to their driveways. Please avoid the area and make plans to take an alternative route.
