Charles Murray of Fort Washington has filed a writ of summons against Blue Bell-based Rubicon Wealth Management, according to the Philadelphia Business Journal.
A writ of summons is a Pennsylvania legal document that initiates a lawsuit without filing a full complaint.
The summons was filed in Montgomery County Common Pleas Court on July 24 against Scott and Lynne Mason (who manage Rubicon), Rubicon and Orchard Park.
Scott Mason, the firm’s president, is accused of stealing more than $20 million from a former client is facing two additional legal complaints, including one from his aunt, the Journal said.
