The Walgreens at 901 Old York Road in the Jenkintown section of Abington Township is receiving a facelift.

Christopher Platz, Abington Township’s Fire Marshal, told Glenside Local that Paramount (the developer which owns the site) construction crews “are doing some facade work (what you currently see) while they subdivide the interior into 4 separate units.”

Platz said the potential tenants of those units are currently unavailable.

The Walgreens permanently closed in July 2023.
