Forecasters calling for rainy weekend with strong wind gusts

The National Weather Service is predicting another round of widespread rain Saturday and Saturday night.

Greater Glenside is expected to see half an inch to one inch of rainfall.

“Normally this wouldn’t be enough to result in flooding concerns, but with already wet ground, there is potential for minor flooding on some rivers and streams,” the service said.

Very windy conditions with gusts near 45 mph are possible Sunday into Monday, the service said.
