The National Weather Service is predicting more wintry weather this weekend.

According to their latest forecast, a strong storm system will impact greater Glenside and beyond.

“Wintry precip will impact areas near I-95 and northwest Saturday afternoon, changing to all rain from south to north by late afternoon into evening. Then periods of rain through Sunday with localized minor flooding possible,” the agency said in a post. “As the system departs Sunday night into Monday, high winds with gusts 45-60 mph will be possible. The winds could lead to power outages and tree damage.”

Sunny, with a high near 35. Breezy, with a northwest wind 15 to 20 mph, with gusts as high as 30 mph.

Mostly cloudy, with a low around 24. Northwest wind around 5 mph becoming calm in the evening.

Saturday

Snow after 1pm, mixing with rain after 4pm. High near 36. Southeast wind 5 to 10 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%. New snow accumulation of 1 to 2 inches possible.

Saturday Night

Rain, possibly mixed with snow, becoming all rain after 10pm. Low around 33. East wind around 5 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%. New snow accumulation of less than a half inch possible.

Sunday

Periods of rain. High near 54. Breezy, with an east wind 5 to 10 mph becoming southwest 15 to 20 mph in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 30 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%. New precipitation amounts between a half and three quarters of an inch possible.

Mostly cloudy, with a low around 26. Breezy.
