FoodChasers’ Kitchen of Elkins Park was paid a visit by Eagles’ star quarterback Jalen Hurts in the fall. Hurts donned an apron, stepped behind the grill, and gave cheesesteak-making lessons to Thursday Night Football’s Taylor Rooks.

After the cameras stopped rolling, Hurts told the twins that he would keep supporting them. He tagged the restaurant in a Tweet and gave them a shout out during an appearance on Monday Night Football’s ManningCast.

FoodChasers’ twin owners Drs. Maya and Kala Johnstone were recently featured by The Philadelphia Inquirer for the impact that visit has had on their business.
