The Flourtown Fire Company announced that plans for a new house on a Bysher Avenue lot are coming along.
The house, which sits on property owned by the company since 1946, will become a home for four volunteer firefighters, officials said.
“Having 4 firefighters living very close to the firehouse will help ensure a staffed truck responds quickly,” their announcement said.
