Flood Watch issued through midnight, severe storms expected to continue building

According to the National Weather Service and the Montgomery County Department of Public Safety, a Flood Watch has been issued for Montgomery County through midnight.

An additional .5-1.0+ inch of rain is expected and could result in scattered local flash flooding, especially on already saturated grounds and swollen streams.

Showers and thunderstorms are developing this afternoon and are expected to continue building into tonight. Damaging wind gusts to 60mph and small hail are possible.
