Five CHS grads elected to offices in Abington, Conshohocken/Whitemarsh, and Cheltenham

Five graduates of Cheltenham High School won elections on November 7. They will serve Abington Township, Abington School District, Cheltenham School District, and the Conshohocken/Whitemarsh area.

Jeffrey R. Browne

Jeffrey R. Browne, a 1995 Cheltenham High School graduate, was reelected to office in Abington Township as a Ward 6 commissioner. For more on commissioner Browne, you can visit his Facebook page.


Rachel Seidman Hartman

Rachel Seidman Hartman, another 1995 Cheltenham High School graduate, won a seat on the Abington School District Board of Directors.

Browne notes that “Rachel and I not only graduated from Cheltenham the same year, but we both matriculated through the same elementary school up through high school!”


Mia Dansky Blitstein

Mia Dansky Blitstein, a 1996 Cheltenham High School graduate, won a seat on the Cheltenham Township School Board.

Mia is the Program Manager of Healthy NewsWorks, a non-profit organization focused on teaching health journalism and media literacy to under-resourced K-8 schools in Philadelphia, Camden, and Norristown.

Her husband, Daniel Blitstein, is a math teacher at Cheltenham High.


Daniel Schultz

Daniel Schultz, a 2005 Cheltenham High graduate, was reelected to Cheltenham’s school board. He has been a member of the board since 2017.


Dara (Rosenthal) Nasatir

Dara (Rosenthal) Nasatir, a 1993 Cheltenham High School graduate, was elected District Judge for the Conshohocken and Whitemarsh areas.

As an attorney for over 20 years, Dara started her career in private practice, working in estates and trusts and appearing in Orphan’s Court. She then went on to spend some 15 years working in the Superior and Supreme Courts of Pennsylvania.

Dara is a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh and the University of Pennsylvania Law School.
