Just before 7:00am on Monday, December 18, first responders from the Barren Hill Fire Company, Wissahickon Fire Company, and Flourtown Fire Company conducted a successful water rescue along Mathers Lane in Fort Washington (Whitemarsh Township). The vehicle had one passenger.

The road is adjacent to the Wissahickon Creek.
