Hatboro officials announced today that Enterprise Fire Company was dispatched for a dumpster fire at Sullivan’s Scrap Metal (451 Oakdale Avenue) at approximately 10:26am.

According to their post, the fire was located in a scrap pile and has been extinguished.

The facility as well as Oakdale Avenue from Meadowbrook Avenue to County Line Road are closed at this time.

The fire is under investigation by the Hatboro Fire Marshal Office.

“Thank you to all mutual aid partners that responded to help extinguish the fire,” the post said.
