The Fetters Mill Fire Rescue of Huntingdon Valley (Lower Moreland Township) announced that a third ambulance has joined their fleet.

According to their post, Ambulance 319-3 will be stored with the Bryn Athyn Fire Company and will begin serving following inspection and licensure.

“As part of our commitment to fiscal responsibility, we partnered with Glick and First Priority Group to identify a high-quality patient compartment that could be remounted onto a new Ford F-550 chassis,” the post said. “By choosing this option, we saved approximately $140,000 and reduced the turnaround time by about one year compared to ordering a brand-new unit.”
