Bryn Athyn Fire Company announced that Lower Moreland Township has had numerous road closures today due to flooding.

Their announcement noted that Fetters Mill Fire Rescue (Bryn Athyn Fire Company and Huntingdon Valley Fire Company) assisted a driver trapped in rising flood waters earlier this afternoon.

The driver was safely extricated and evaluated by EMS.

Update: Lower Moreland Township announced that all roads have been reopened as of 5:00pm.

“We appreciate the public’s cooperation and understanding during this time. Please continue to exercise caution while driving, as some areas may still be affected by the flooding,” their announcement said.
