FBI Philadelphia’s Fort Washington Resident Agency heads investigation that led to a Warminster middle school teacher’s guilty plea on child pornography charges

The FBI Philadelphia’s Fort Washington Resident Agency investigated a case involving Richard Adamsky, 66, of Warminster, the U.S. Attorney’s Office announced on Monday.

Adamsky entered a plea of guilty on one count of receipt and attempted receipt of child pornography and one count of possession of child pornography. He was indicted in September for knowingly receiving a visual depiction of a minor engaged in sexually explicit conduct on or about June 15, 2024.

Officials said Adamsky possessed two computers and two flash drives containing visual depictions of minors engaged in sexually explicit conduct. These depictions included prepubescent minors and minors under 12 years of age.

At the time of his arrest, Adamsky had been a 7th and 8th grade teacher at Nativity of Our Lord grade school in Warminster, where he had taught for the last 38 years.

This case was brought as part of Project Safe Childhood and was prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney Maureen McCartney.

The FBI’s Fort Washington Resident Agency is a satellite office of the larger FBI Philadelphia Field Office that serves Bucks and Montgomery counties, providing local FBI presence for reporting crimes, terrorism, and suspicious activity.
