The FBI has joined local law enforcement, including the Cheltenham Township Police Department, in the investigation of the Brinks armored truck robbery outside of the Elkins Park H-Mart on the morning of Tuesday, August 12.

According to CBS News, at least five other armored truck robberies have taken place in Philadelphia since June. On Wednesday, 6ABC reported that three men were arrested in connection with a June 21 robbery of a Brinks armored car, in which more than $2 million was stolen. One of the suspects was employed by Brinks at the time of the crime.

The same day of the Elkins Park robbery, Cheltenham police provided images of two suspects.
