The word "collagraph" finds its roots in the French word "coller" or "to glue", as in "collage". Emily Ennulat-Lustine utilizes items such as leaves and pine needles when building her printing plates to achieve richly organic and tactile nature scapes. Introspection, relationships, and the wonders of nature are recurring themes in Emily’s art. "I see the greatest beauty in both the physical and the spiritual, nature’s exquisite places that nourish us, the people who nurture us, the relationships that heal us, and our connections to them that carry weight and meaning." Working out of the northern Philadelphia, PA suburb of Wyncote, Emily is a credentialed artist who has shown in numerous local galleries and exhibitions. She primarily produces collagraph prints but has a line of mini collagraphs which she displays as a unique line of jewelry.
