National Night Out is a unique crime and drug prevention event, typically scheduled in early August, and sponsored nationally by the Lower Merion-based National Association of Town Watch. National Night Out brings together citizens, law enforcement agencies, community groups, businesses, neighborhood organizations and government officials in all across the county in an effort to build a strong partnership among members of the community to encourage cooperation in crime and drug prevention efforts. The event features food, music, clowns, face painting, and great entertainment for the whole family.
