Mindfulness Classes for Kids

Takes place every Thursday from 4:30pm to 5:00pm
In a world of doing, doing, doing, it's important to take time to just be. During each half hour mindfulness session we will explore how to calm down our thinking brains, strategies for managing stress, and the power of our breath. We will practice mindful listening, mindful breathing, and mindfulness of thoughts and emotions. Each session will be interactive and include part discussion, part practice, and some time for journaling or relaxation at the end. For ages 10-12.This class will be held virtually on Zoom. Details on how to join the class will be sent by email the day before each class.
