January 2022 Book Club Pick! The Night Watchman Join us for a discussion of the 2021 winning Pulitzer Prize novel, The Night Watchman, by Louise Erdrich. Although the book is classified as fiction, it draws from the life experiences of the author's grandfather, a Chippewa Native American who was a leading advocate for the rights of his people. A strong supporting cast of characters with their own ambitions and struggles reveals life on the Turtle Mountain Reservation in rural North Dakota.
