Memorial Day commemorates the women and men who have died while in military service, and it will be observed this year on Monday, May 30, 2022.

The McKeown-Zane VFW Post No. 1711 is once again proud to sponsor the Memorial Day activities and has provided the following schedule of events to memorialize this Holiday. All events will take place on Monday, May 30, 2022 beginning at 8:30 AM. 8:30 AM - Breakfast begins for all
9:00 AM - Religious Service 
10:00 AM - Ceremony at Abington Memorial
10:30 AM - Ceremony at Jenkintown High School with Parade following
11:00 AM - Ceremony at Borough Hall
12:00 PM - Ceremony at Forrest Hill Cemetery
1:00 PM - Ceremony at VFW following with hot dogs for all attendants
