The North Penn VFW Post 676 (2519 Jenkintown Road, Glenside) will host a family friendly event this Saturday at 2 p.m. to celebrate the completion of a cross-country bicycle journey to honor a fallen friend. Marine Corps veteran Nick Novotny has pedaled his bicycle more than 4,000 miles through 10 states to raise funds for the Wounded Warrior Project and the family of his friend James Currie. Novotny will be on hand Saturday to discuss his adventures along the way, as well as his motivations for undertaking the journey known as The James Currie Memorial Ride. Free food, drinks and more!
