Join us in the Village for the annual Fine Art and Craft show at Historic Yellow Springs on Saturday November 16th from 10-5 and Sunday from 10-4, admission is free for members and just $5 for the general public. This year’s show features amazing invited crafters from around the region as well as a Fine Art section. Many artists you will recognize from our Spring Show. On Sunday between 2-3:30 there will be a “meet and greet” with artists, including Dru Kring with mixed media, Brian Marshall a found object sculpture, Don Shoffner, watercolor artist, Helena Van Emmerick-Finn’s work in pastel and many others. The Fine Art will be displayed in the lower galleries of the Lincoln building and our invited crafters will be in the top gallery of the Lincoln building along with the large hall in the Washington buildings. We have an exciting array of work this year including pottery, weaving, jewelry, woodcarving, fiber arts, paintings, drawings and sculptures available. Chester Springs maintains a legacy of art dating to the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts Country School in our Village from 1917 through 1952.
