Join Leigh Altadonna, President of the Wyncote Audubon Society and Jennifer Sherwood, Chair of Abington Bird Town. The walk is open to anyone interested in learning more about the birds that frequent this Montgomery County Park that is part of an Audubon Important Bird Area. All are invited!Meet at the Welsh Road Parking Lot located at the intersection of Welsh and Terwood Roads. This lot is an access lot for the Pennypack Trails. Explore Lorimer Park and the Bethayres Swamp; an official Audubon IBA (Important Bird Area). All are welcome, including new birders and experienced birders alike. Leaders will be from the Wyncote Audubon Society. Bring binoculars if you have them. Wear comfortable footwear and clothing.
