Race day registration: 7:30–8:15AM in the APC parking lot. "Be a part of a community favorite that is celebrating its fifth year! Take on a challenging course lined with super soakers and cooling hoses before you finish with a refreshing shower from a fire truck! Join us on Saturday, July 21 at 8:30AM for the 5th Annual APC Summer Soaker 5K Run/Walk. Come out to compete test your fitness, or enjoy the time with friends and family. Super-soft race T-shirts that drew rave reviews the last two years will be guaranteed only to those that register before July 6. An additional 300-meter fun run for the kids will start at 9:30AM. Kids fun runners do not have to preregister but will receive race medals and a small prize at the finish. Prize money ($100, $50, and $25 apiece) to the top three male and female finishers. Age group winners will receive medals. Cost:

• Kids 18 and under: $20 until race day, then $25 on race day.
• Adults: $30 for run/walk until race day, then $35 on race day.
• Kids 300m dash: FREE and open to all children 12 and under.

Notes: The overflow parking area is the campus of Abington Junior High School (2056 Susquehanna Road, Abington, PA 19001). This event is rain or shine—no refunds.   This year's proceeds will be split between a pair of worthy organizations. Back on My Feet is a national organization operating in twelve major cities, including Philadelphia, to combat homelessness through the power of running, community support, and essential employment and housing resources.
