On Saturday night On Gracie’s Wings  is having a Raffle Basket Bingo fundraiser to benefit the foundation committed to honoring the life and legacy of Grace Packer with a mission to help children in foster care and victims of domestic violence.

​On Gracie’s Wings Foundation started after a group of moms from Abington decided to have a memorial service for Abington teen Gracie Parker who spent her entire life in and out of the foster care system. Parker was brutally murdered by her adoptive parents in 2016. The response from both the community and foster children was so overwhelming the group of mothers decided to start a foundation in her honor.

On Gracie’s Wings’ Grant & Scholarship Program was created to further assist the children and families we service. On Gracie’s Wings Foundation hopes to change the image associated with the name Grace Packer. The Foundation wants Parker’ memory to be one of love, hope and commitment to community service.

The foundation’s mission is to also show families experiencing a difficult transition that there is help available. The organization works to help the community recognize signs of neglect and abuse, and how to safely report these situations.
