The Elkins Park, Rockledge and Jenkintown fire companies put out a fire in the chimney of a wood burning stove in a detached garage on the evening of Friday, December 20.

According to Elkins Park Fire Company’s post, the owners were not present in the garage during the incident.

The La Mott and Cheltenham fire companies responded and remained on scene for support, the post said.
