Michael Taylor, a resident of Elkins Park, was quoted in 6ABC News’ coverage of a shooting at the ShopRite at N. Front Street and E. Olney Avenue on Monday night.

According to the story, a grocery store employee is in critical condition after a customer shot him in the parking lot.

Police said the 23-year-old victim works as a cart attendant and got into an argument with a 30-year-old customer. The customer fired three shots, striking him in the stomach, left hand and arm.

“They hire them and put some meaning in their life and so they’re out here now and they get shot?” Taylor told 6ABC.
