elevateHER to host branding photography workshop and social hour on September 18

Are the photographs you use for your business communicating what you want people to know about you?

On Friday, September 18, elevateHER will host “What You Need to Know for a Branding Photo Shoot,” an interactive workshop and social hour for women business owners at Align Barre + Fitness in Glenside.

The event, which runs from 4–6 PM, will be led by portrait and branding photographer Carly Piersol.

Piersol works with small business owners to create photographs that reflect the personalities of their brands as well as their authentic selves. During the workshop, she’ll take attendees behind the scenes of the planning that happens before a successful branding shoot, from defining a brand’s message to creating mood boards and detailed shot lists.

The goal is to help business owners think beyond the traditional headshot and consider how a collection of intentional images can tell a fuller and more distinctive story about their work.

Attendees will leave with a clearer understanding of what they need from their business photographs, ideas for creating their own mood boards and a practical starting point for planning a future branding shoot.

Following the workshop, elevateHER will host a relaxed social hour with refreshments and time for conversation, collaboration and connection.
