Edward Gallagher, FSC, a former principal at La Salle College High School, passed away on Sunday, December 17. He was 93 years old.

Gallagher served as La Salle’s principal from 1966-69 and again from 1972-77.

The La Salle College High School Facebook page shared photos of Brother Edward, as he was known, noting that he devoted 70 years of his life to education.

Services are expected after the holidays.

“May he rest in the peace his life in the service of young people has earned,” the Facebook post said.
